Bhopal Performance
Throughout the month of May, 2005, Bahroop Arts Group, a theatre
group at Jawaharlal Nehru University, has been staging performances
of a play called "Yahan Se Shahar Ko Dekho," an adaptation
of Rahul Verma's play, Bhopal. Bahroop Arts Group often
performs plays on social issues in Delhi and outside. The most recent
performance of the play, at LTG Auditorium, Mandi House, Delhi,
was staged as a part of the Sahitya Kala Parishad Festival. Several
hundred people have seen the play so far and Bahroop Arts Group
remains committed to the cause of the victims of the Bhopal gas
tragedy.

year when student and youth supporters from at least 30 campuses in the
US and India took action against Dow Chemical or in support of the demands
of the Bhopal survivors. As we enter the 20th year of the unfolding Bhopal
disaster, we can, with your support, convey to Dow Chemical that the fight
for justice in Bhopal is getting stronger and will continue till justice
